Chez Charles Restaurant Officially Opens its Doors in Dubai Design District

Bringing its chic brasserie concept and contemporary French cuisine to Dubai

Dubai, U.A.E. March 7, 2017 – Chez Charles has made its mark as the caterer of choice for the UAE’s most exclusive events and happenings, both with leading luxury brands and private clients. After much anticipation, the Chez Charles Restaurant has officially launched in Dubai Design District (d3), the city’s creative hub adjacent to Business Bay.

Giving Dubai a unique selection of contemporary French cuisine, Chez Charles Restaurant is set to take its guests on a tasteful culinary journey, using only the finest seasonal ingredients. The dynamic team at the Chez Charles Restaurant has been hand selected to guarantee impeccable service and an unparalleled culinary experience at the convivial brasserie.


L’ambiance

The restaurant’s vibrant ambiance combines Parisian brasserie influences with subtle touches of Provence, creating a contemporary take on the French dining experience. The main dining area has floor to ceiling windows and seats 80 guest overlooking a charming terrace that features a beautiful private outdoor dining area for up to 30 guests.

The large kitchen set behind a clear glass stage is perhaps the most compelling aspect, giving guests ultimate access to the heart of the restaurant. Charles Boghos, Founder and CEO of Chez Charles explains, “We wanted to give our guests access to the magic that takes place in the kitchen to fully appreciate the passion at the core of Chez Charles’ team.” He adds, “We wanted the kitchen to be a part of the dining experience”.


L’intérieur

Designed by AAC interiors, the chic brasserie takes a stylish life of its own, with its delicate neutral palette. The simplicity of white table clothed tables are beautifully coupled with olive green and greige velvet chairs with a custom-made chandelier captivatingly suspended over the main dining area. From the bronze flecked antique mirrors to the gunmetal verrière that line the restaurant, each element was elegantly combined create a contemporary brasserie feel. The outdoor terraces are tastefully lined with bright green plants, recreating the feeling of a winter garden in Paris. With interiors that perfectly complement the hedonistic style of Chez Charles’s gastronomy, the result is an epicurean brasserie, right in the heart of Dubai Design District.


Le Salon

The lounge, set aside from the dining area, includes a beautiful molded zinc bar counter, high table seating and its own lounge terrace. The lounge conveys the same air of simple sophistication from the rustic accents to the sleek modern furniture. The lounge, with its upbeat environment, is designed to offer guests an entirely different experience from that of the restaurant, complemented with a DJ. The distinct lounge area offers guests the chance to enjoy drinks in a vibrant setting, whether it’s a tête-à-tête or a fun night out with friends.


Les Chefs

The cuisine will be overseen by Chef Jeremy Degras who is also Executive Chef of the Chez Charles Group. “We are a team here at Chez Charles,” explains Chef Jeremy, “we work side by side to achieve the highest levels of quality reinforcing our unique approach to contemporary French cuisine. It is very important for us that we stay true to our ethos which lies in the ingredients, the cooking, the creativity and most importantly the passion behind it all.”


La Cuisine

The contemporary French cuisine at the Chez Charles Restaurant is rooted in the concept of ‘sans frontières’ cooking, which is the understanding that in the kitchen there is no limits or boundaries. Chef Jeremy is dedicated to experimenting with each dish and its individual ingredients to reach the ultimate result of flavour, taste and texture.

The bespoke menu will feature a selection of classic salads, hors d’oeuvres, platters, seafood, poultry, meat and pasta and an extensive dessert menu. Highlights include Burgundy Snails a la Provençale, Paella Saffron Risotto, Milk-Fed Veal Tenderloin with Niçoise Ratatouille and Bouillabaisse Marseillaise.
